“I’m no math major but here’s the equation I see at work as these resources are utilized: the triune God who promises to transform His people ever increasingly into His likeness + people desiring to see their faith in Jesus make a difference in their struggles with suffering or sin + the Living and active Word of God + relevant biblically-based resources + heart-searching questions + reflective journaling + honest sharing in group each week + the powerful presence of God’s Spirit = saints who are increasingly walking “in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10). What brother or sister wouldn’t want to see this glorious work in their own lives? What pastor or leader wouldn’t want to see a congregation full of people growing in this way?”
